Yunus narrated to us, saying: Abu Dawud narrated to us, saying: Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from Salih, the freedman of al-Taw'ama, from Abu Hurayra, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever prays over a funeral in the mosque gets nothing. Salih said: I met men among those who met the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Abu Bakr; when they came and found no place but to pray in the mosque, they returned and did not pray.

ہمیں یونس نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہمیں ابوداؤد نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہمیں ابن ابی ذئب نے بیان کیا، صالح مولیٰ توامہ سے، حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے، کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو مسجد میں جنازے پر نماز پڑھے اس کے لیے کچھ نہیں۔ صالح نے کہا: میں نے ان مردوں کو پایا جنہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کو پایا تھا؛ جب آتے اور مسجد میں نماز کے سوا جگہ نہ پاتے تو لوٹ جاتے اور نہ پڑھتے۔
