2305 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Mihzam narrated to us: Umarah al-Abdi narrated to us, he said: We used to visit Abu Sa'id, and when he saw us he would say: Welcome to the bequest of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to us: "There will come people seeking knowledge; when you see them, treat them kindly."

2305 ۔ یونس نے ہم سے بیان کیا، کہا: ابوداؤد نے ہم سے بیان کیا، کہا: محمد بن مہزم نے ہم سے بیان کیا: عمارہ عبدی نے ہم سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: ہم ابوسعید کے پاس آتے، جب وہ ہمیں دیکھتے تو کہتے: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وصیت کو خوش آمدید۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہم سے فرمایا: عنقریب کچھ لوگ علم طلب کرتے آئیں گے، جب تم انہیں دیکھو تو ان سے اچھا سلوک کرو۔

2307 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Umarah al-Abdi, from Abu Sa'id, he said: Coitus interruptus was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he said: "If Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, decrees something, it will surely be, even with withdrawal." Abu Sa'id said: I practised withdrawal with a slave girl of mine, and she gave birth to the dearest of people to me - this boy.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered that it be measured to which of the two he was nearer, and he was found nearer to one of the two quarters by a span. Abu Sa'id said: It is as though I am looking at the span of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) - and he cast its blood-money upon them.

2309 ۔ ابوداؤد نے ہم سے بیان کیا، کہا: ابواسرائیل نے ہم سے بیان کیا، عطیہ سے، ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ ایک مقتول دو محلوں کے درمیان پایا گیا۔ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حکم دیا کہ ناپا جائے کہ وہ ان دونوں میں سے کس کے زیادہ قریب ہے، تو وہ ان دونوں میں سے ایک محلے کے ایک بالشت زیادہ قریب پایا گیا۔ ابوسعید نے کہا: گویا میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بالشت کو دیکھ رہا ہوں ـ اور آپ نے اس کی دیت ان پر ڈالی۔
