[2/598] سُفْيَانُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ - أَوِ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ . 1364 - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ أَوْ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ - رَجُلٌ مِنْ ثَقِيفَ - عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " تَوَضَّأَ وَنَضَحَ فَرْجَهُ .

EnglishUnverified translation

Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shubah narrated to us, from Mansur, from Mujahid, from al-Hakam or Abu al-Hakam - a man of Thaqif - from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution and sprinkled his private part.

ہمیں یونس نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہمیں ابوداؤد نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہمیں شعبہ نے بیان کیا، منصور سے، مجاہد سے، حکم یا ابوالحکم سے ـ جو ثقیف میں سے ایک شخص تھے ـ ان کے والد سے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا اور شرمگاہ پر چھینٹے مارے۔

[2/599] عُمَارَةُ بْنُ رُوَيْبَةَ 1365 - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَزَائِدَةُ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : رَأَى عُمَارَةُ بْنُ رُوَيْبَةَ - وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ - [2/600] بِشْرَ بْنَ مَرْوَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ فِي الدُّعَاءِ - يَعْنِي يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : فَشَتَمَهُ أَوْ نَالَ مِنْهُ ، وَقَالَ زَائِدَةُ : قَبَّحَ اللهُ هَاتَيْنِ الْيَدَيْنِ ، مَا زَادَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَلَى هَكَذَا " ، وَأَشَارَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ .

Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shubah and Zaidah narrated to us, from Husayn, he said: Umarah ibn Ruwaybah - and he had companionship - saw Bishr ibn Marwan raising his hands in supplication - meaning on Friday. Shubah said: So he reviled him or belittled him; and Zaidah said: May Allah disfigure these two hands; the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did no more than this. And Abu Dawud pointed with the forefinger.

ہمیں یونس نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہمیں ابوداؤد نے بیان کیا، کہا: ہمیں شعبہ اور زائدہ نے بیان کیا، حصین سے، کہا: عمارہ بن رویبہ نے ـ جنہیں صحبت حاصل تھی ـ بشر بن مروان کو دعا میں ہاتھ اٹھاتے دیکھا ـ یعنی جمعہ کے دن۔ شعبہ نے کہا: تو انہوں نے اسے برا بھلا کہا یا اس کی تحقیر کی؛ اور زائدہ نے کہا: اللہ ان دونوں ہاتھوں کو برا کرے؛ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے زیادہ نہیں کیا۔ اور ابوداؤد نے شہادت کی انگلی سے اشارہ کیا۔
