Abu Dawud narrated to us, saying: Abu Bakr al-Hudhali narrated to us, Abu al-Malih al-Hudhali narrated to us, from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, who said: I mentioned Talha to Umar, and he said: That is a man with pride since his hand was struck alongside the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

ابوداؤد نے ہم سے بیان کیا، کہا: ابوبکر ہذلی نے ہم سے بیان کیا، ابوملیح ہذلی نے ہم سے بیان کیا، ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے عمر کے سامنے طلحہ کا ذکر کیا تو فرمایا: وہ شخص ہے جس میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ہاتھ زخمی ہونے سے فخر ہے۔
