Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us, Abu 'Amir narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Budayl, from 'Abdullah ibn Shaqiq, from Abu Hurayrah, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave and from the punishment of Hell and the false messiah, the Dajjal. And this hadith — we do not know of anyone who narrated it from Budayl except Shu'bah.

Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Malik narrated to us, Bishr ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Khalid narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Shaqiq, from Abu Hurayrah, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When one of you wakes up, let him not dip his hand into his vessel until he has washed it three times, for he does not know where his hand spent the night. And this hadith — we do not know of anyone who narrated it from 'Abdullah ibn Shaqiq except Khalid, and it has been narrated from Abu Hurayrah through other paths.

Ahmad ibn Mansur narrated to us, 'Ali ibn 'Asim narrated to us, from Khalid, from 'Abdullah ibn Shaqiq, from Abu Hurayrah, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: I saw Ibrahim (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as though he were your companion, and I saw Musa (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) tall and dark-skinned, and I saw 'Isa (peace be upon him) red-complexioned and curly-haired. And this hadith has been narrated by others besides 'Ali from Khalid.

Nasr ibn 'Ali narrated to us: al-Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman informed us, from al-Zubayr ibn al-Khirrit, from 'Abdullah ibn Shaqiq, he said: Ibn 'Abbas addressed us one day after 'Asr until the sun set and the stars appeared, and the people kept calling out to him: The prayer, the prayer; and among the people was a man from Banu Tamim. Ibn 'Abbas said: Do you teach me the Sunnah? May you have no mother. I witnessed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) combine Zuhr and 'Asr and Maghrib and 'Isha. He said: So I met Abu Hurayrah and he agreed with him. And this hadith — we do not know it narrated from the hadith of 'Abdullah ibn Shaqiq, from Ibn 'Abbas and Abu Hurayrah, except from al-Zubayr ibn al-Khirrit, from 'Abdullah ibn Shaqiq; and we do not know of al-Zubayr narrating in musnad form from 'Abdullah ibn Shaqiq from Abu Hurayrah except this hadith.
