Muhammad ibn Mirdas narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Abi Adi narrated to us, from Awf, from Thumamah, from Anas - thus I found it in my book in my handwriting, from Thumamah, from Anas - and others said: from Thumamah ibn Abdullah ibn Anas; and we do not know anyone who said: from Ibn Abi Adi, from Awf, from Thumamah, from Anas, except a man called Musa ibn Hayyan, whose word is not adduced as proof; and Muhammad ibn Mirdas is unobjectionable, truthful; so I saw it in my book in my handwriting from Ibn Abi Adi, from Awf, from Thumamah, from Anas, he said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Madinah, the slave girls of the Ansar met him and began saying: [the transmitted text ends here].

And we do not know anyone who narrated this hadith from Thumamah except Jamil ibn Ubayd.
