Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us; Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us; Humayd narrated to us, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A morning excursion in the path of Allah, or an evening excursion, is better than the world and what is in it; and the space of the bow of one of you is better than the world and what is in it. And were a woman of the people of Paradise to look down upon the people of the earth, she would fill what is between them with fragrance; and her head-cover upon her head is better than the world and what is in it. And this hadith — more than one narrated it from Humayd, from Anas, as stopped; and Thabit narrated some of its wording.

Ibn Muthanna narrated to us; Khalid narrated to us; Humayd narrated to us, who said: Anas said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was with one of the Mothers of the Believers, and she sent to him a bowl containing food. Then she struck the hand of the messenger and the bowl fell and broke. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took one of the two pieces and joined one to the other, gathering the food in them, saying: Your mother has become jealous. They ate until she came with a bowl from her own house. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) handed the sound bowl to the messenger and left the broken one in the house of the one who broke it.
