عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ [1/459] 326 - حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ قَالَ : نَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ قَالَ : نَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ يَدْعُو فَقَالَ : سَلْ تُعْطَ فَإِذَا هُوَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ .

Alqamah ibn Qays from Umar: 326 - al-Qasim ibn Bishr ibn Maruf narrated to us, he said: Musab ibn al-Miqdam narrated to us, he said: Sufyan al-Thawri narrated to us, from al-Amash, from Ibrahim, from Alqamah, from Umar: that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed a man praying and supplicating, so he said: Ask, you shall be given. And there he was Abdullah ibn Masud.

علقمہ بن قیس عمر سے: 326 - ہمیں قاسم بن بشر بن معروف نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں مصعب بن مقدام نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں سفیان ثوری نے بیان کیا، اعمش سے، ابراہیم سے، علقمہ سے، عمر سے: کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک شخص کے پاس سے گزرے جو نماز پڑھتے دعا کر رہا تھا، آپ نے فرمایا: مانگو، دیا جائے گا۔ اور وہ عبد اللہ بن مسعود تھے۔

[1/460] 327 - وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ قَالَ : نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ قَالَ : نَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، وَالْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ مَرَّ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ وَرَجُلٌ يَقْرَأُ فَجَعَلَ يَتَسَمَّعُ لِقِرَاءَتِهِ فَلَمَّا جَلَسَ يَدْعُو قَالَ : سَلْ تُعْطَ .

327 - And Ali ibn al-Mundhir narrated it to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, he said: al-Amash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from Alqamah, and al-Amash, from Khaythamah, from Qays ibn Marwan, from Umar: that he passed with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) one night while a man recited, so he listened to his recitation. When he sat supplicating he said: Ask, you shall be given.

327 - اور ہمیں علی بن منذر نے یہی بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں محمد بن فضیل نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں اعمش نے بیان کیا، ابراہیم سے، علقمہ سے، اور اعمش سے، خیثمہ سے، قیس بن مروان سے، عمر سے: کہ وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک رات گزرے اور ایک شخص پڑھ رہا تھا، وہ اس کی قراءت سننے لگے۔ جب وہ بیٹھ کر دعا کرنے لگا تو فرمایا: مانگو، دیا جائے گا۔

وَقَدْ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ أَوِ ابْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ جُعْفَى ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى [1/461] اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - . 328 - حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُرَشِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ .

And al-Hasan ibn Ubaydullah narrated this hadith from Ibrahim, from Alqamah, from Qays or Ibn Qays, from a man of Jufa, from Umar ibn al-Khattab, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). 328 - Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik al-Qurashi narrated it to us, from Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad, from al-Hasan ibn Ubaydullah.
