I am Yahya bin Habib bin Arabi, on the authority of Hammad, narrated by Ma’abad bin Hilal, who said: A group of the people of Basra gathered, so we set off for Anas. Ibn Malik, so we found him while he was praying the noon prayer, so we waited until he finished, so we entered upon him, and he sat still on his bed, and he said to him: Oh Abu Hamza, our brothers are asking you about the hadith of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding intercession. Anas said: Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, told us. Peace and blessings of God be upon him: “When on the Day of Resurrection people will gather among themselves, then Adam will be brought, and it will be said to him: O Adam, intercede for your offspring. So he says: I am not hers, but you are responsible for Abraham, for he is the friend of the Most Gracious. So Abraham is brought, and he says, meaning: I am not hers, but you are upon me. Through Moses, he is the speaker of God. Then Moses is brought, and he says: I am not for it, but you should go to Jesus, for he is the spirit and word of God, so Jesus, peace be upon him, is brought. So he says: I am not hers, but you must go to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. So he is brought, and I say: I am hers, so I ask permission from my Lord. Then the call is given to me, so I stand before him, and he inspires me with praises that I cannot do now, so I praise him with those praises, then I prostrate before him. So He says: O Muhammad, raise your head, speak and you will be heard, ask and you will be given, and intercede and you will be interceded. So I say: Oh Lord, my nation, my nation. It is said: Go, who will In his heart he either said: A weight of righteousness or a strand of faith, so take him out of it, then I will go and do it, then I will come back and praise. With those words of Muhammad, then he prostrated to him again, and it is said: O Muhammad, raise your head, speak and you will be heard, ask and you will be given, intercede and you will be interceded, so I say: O Lord, my nation, my nation. Then it will be said: Go, and whoever has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of faith, take him out of it. Then I will go and do it. Then I return and praise with those words of praise, then I fall back and prostrate before him, and it is said to me: O Muhammad, raise your head, and speak and it will be heard, and ask and it will be given to you. And intercede, and you will be interceded. Then I will say: O Lord, my nation, my nation. Then it will be said: Go. And whoever has in his heart anything less than the weight of a mustard seed, Then take him out of the fire, and he will go.” Narrated by Anas (Peace Be Upon Him)
