Abu Jafar al-Mukharrimi Muhammad ibn Abdillah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, he said: Ali ibn Jafar narrated to us, from Shubah, from Qatadah, from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was brought a man who had drunk wine. He said: So he struck him with two palm stalks with him, about forty times. Then Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) did the like of that. When it was Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he consulted the people, and Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf said: The lightest of the prescribed penalties is eighty.

ابو جعفر مخرمی محمد بن عبداللہ بن مبارک نے ہم سے بیان کیا، کہا: علی بن جعفر نے ہم سے بیان کیا، شعبہ سے، قتادہ سے، انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے، کہا: نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک مرد لایا گیا جس نے شراب پی تھی۔ کہا: تو آپ نے اپنے پاس دو کھجور کی چھڑیوں سے اسے چالیس کے قریب مارا۔ پھر ابو بکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بھی ایسا ہی کیا۔ جب عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ہوئے تو انہوں نے لوگوں سے مشورہ کیا، تو عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف نے کہا: حدوں میں سب سے ہلکی اسی ہے۔

Abu Yahya Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahim al-Bazzar narrated to us, he said: Shabbabah informed us, he said: Shubah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was brought a man who had drunk wine, so he struck him with two palm stalks forty times. And Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) did that. ابو یحییٰ محمد بن عبدالرحیم بزار نے ہم سے بیان کیا، کہا: شبابہ نے ہمیں بتایا، کہا: شعبہ نے ہم سے بیان کیا، قتادہ سے، حسن سے، انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے، کہا: نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک مرد لایا گیا جس نے شراب پی تھی، تو آپ نے اسے دو کھجور کی چھڑیوں سے چالیس مارا۔ اور ابو بکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بھی ایسا کیا۔ جب عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ہوئے تو انہوں نے لوگوں سے مشورہ کیا، تو عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف نے ان سے کہا: حدوں میں سب سے ہلکی اسی ہے، تو انہوں نے ایسا کیا۔

897 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, he said: Asad ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhib narrated to us, from al-Harith - meaning Ibn Abd al-Rahman - from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurayra, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If he becomes drunk, flog him, three times, then he said on the fourth: then strike his neck.

897 - محمد بن یحیی نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی، کہا: اسد بن موسیٰ نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی، کہا: ابن ابی ذئب نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی، حارث یعنی ابن عبدالرحمٰن سے، ابوسلمہ سے، حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے، انہوں نے کہا: نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے فرمایا: جب وہ نشے میں آئے تو اسے کوڑے مارو، تین مرتبہ، پھر چوتھی مرتبہ میں فرمایا: تو اس کی گردن مارو۔

898 - Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Ahmasi narrated to us, he said: Waki narrated to us, from al-Amash, from Abdullah ibn Murra, from Masruq, from Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The blood of a Muslim man who testifies that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah is not lawful except for one of three persons: a life for a life, the married adulterer, and the one who abandons his religion and separates from the community.

898 - محمد بن اسماعیل احمسی نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی، کہا: وکیع نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی، اعمش سے، عبداللہ بن مرہ سے، مسروق سے، حضرت عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے، انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے فرمایا: کسی مسلمان شخص کا خون جو گواہی دیتا ہو کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں، حلال نہیں مگر تین میں سے ایک کے سبب: جان کے بدلے جان، شادی شدہ زانی، اور اپنے دین کو چھوڑ کر جماعت سے جدا ہونے والا۔
