298 - Bahr ibn Nasr narrated to us, from Ibn Wahb, from Yunus ibn Yazid, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim ibn Abdullah ibn Umar, from his father Abdullah ibn Umar, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to glorify Allah upon the mount facing whichever direction it turned, and pray witr upon it, except that he would not pray upon it the obligatory prayer.

299 - Ibrahim ibn Abi Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah Abu Shaybah narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Ubaydah narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Talhah al-Yami, from Dharr, from Sa'id ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abza, from his father, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite in the witr: "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" and "Say: O disbelievers" and "Say: He is Allah, the One." Then when he gave salutation, he would say: Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy, glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy, three times.
