253 - Ibn al-Muqri' narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell from a horse and his right side was scraped, so we entered upon him to visit him, then the prayer came and he prayed sitting, so we prayed sitting. Then when he finished his prayer, he said: The imam has only been appointed to be followed, so when he says the takbir, then say the takbir, and when he bows, then bow, and when he rises, then rise, and when he says: Allah hears him who praises Him - then say: Our Lord, and to You belongs praise, and when he prays sitting, then pray all sitting.

253 ۔ ابن المقری نے ہم سے بیان کیا، کہا: سفیان نے ہم سے بیان کیا، زہری سے، انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے، انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم گھوڑے سے گرے اور آپ کا دایاں پہلو چھل گیا، تو ہم آپ کی عیادت کے لیے حاضر ہوئے، پھر نماز آئی تو آپ نے بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھائی، تو ہم نے بھی بیٹھ کر پڑھی۔ پھر جب اپنی نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو فرمایا: امام تو صرف اس لیے بنایا گیا ہے کہ اس کی اقتدا کی جائے، پس جب وہ تکبیر کہے تو تکبیر کہو، اور جب رکوع کرے تو رکوع کرو، اور جب اٹھے تو اٹھو، اور جب کہے: سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ تو کہو: ربنا ولک الحمد، اور جب بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھے تو سب بیٹھ کر پڑھو۔

254 - Muhammad ibn Sa'id al-Attar narrated to us, he said: Ishaq al-Azraq narrated to us, he said: Husayn al-Mukattib narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Buraydah, from Imran ibn Husayn, may Allah be pleased with him, that he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the prayer of one sitting. He said: Whoever prays standing, it is better, and whoever prays sitting, he has half the reward of the standing one, and whoever prays lying down, he has half the reward of the sitting one.

254 ۔ محمد بن سعید عطار نے ہم سے بیان کیا، کہا: اسحاق ازرق نے ہم سے بیان کیا، کہا: حسین مکتب نے ہم سے بیان کیا، عبد اللہ بن بریدہ سے، عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ انہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے کے بارے میں پوچھا، فرمایا: جو کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھے وہ افضل ہے، اور جو بیٹھ کر پڑھے اسے کھڑے ہو کر پڑھنے والے کے آدھے اجر کے برابر ہے، اور جو لیٹ کر پڑھے اسے بیٹھ کر پڑھنے والے کے آدھے اجر کے برابر ہے۔
