361 - Narrated to us 'Ali ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz: narrated to us 'Amr ibn 'Awn al-Wasiti: Khalid ibn 'Abdullah informed us, from Layth, from Tawus, from Umm Malik al-Bahziyyah, she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked: Which people are best in tribulation? He said: A man who has seized the head of his horse; he has frightened the enemy and they have frightened him. A man said to Tawus: O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, which enemy? He said: The polytheists.

Umm Aws al-Bahziyyah. 363 - Narrated to us Ahmad ibn al-Qasim ibn Musawir al-Jawhari: narrated to us 'Ismah ibn Sulayman al-Khazzaz: narrated to us Khalaf ibn Khalifah, from Abu Hashim al-Rummani, from Aws ibn Khalid, from Umm Aws al-Bahziyyah: that she melted ghee of hers and put it into a skin bag, then gifted it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He accepted it, took what was in it, and supplicated for her for blessing. They returned it to her while it was full of ghee. She thought the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had not accepted it, so she came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) crying out. He said: Inform her of the story. She ate from it for the remainder of the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the rule of Abu Bakr, and the rule of 'Umar, and the rule of 'Uthman, until there occurred between 'Ali and Mu'awiyah what occurred.
