مَا أَسْنَدَ عَمْرُو بْنُ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ 100 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَمَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي طَوْقٍ شَرَاحِيلَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ يُخْبِرُ يَقُولُ : الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ أَنْ كُنَّا مُنْذُ قَرِيبٍ إِذَا حَجَجْنَا لَنَقُولُ : [17/47] وَعْرَا شَزْرَا فَنَحْنُ نَقُولُ الْيَوْمَ كَمَا عَلَّمَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ وَكُنَّا نَمْنَعُ النَّاسَ يَقِفُوا بِعَرَفَاتٍ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ نَحُولَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ بَطْنِ عُرَنَةَ فَإِنَّمَا كَانَ مَوْقِفُهُمْ بِبَطْنِ مُحَسِّرٍ عَشِيَّةَ عَرَفَةَ فَرَقًا أَنْ تَخْطَفَهُمُ الْجِنُّ ، وَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّمَا هُمْ إِخْوَانُكُمْ إِذَا أَسْلَمُوا .

What Amr ibn Madi Karib narrated: Ali ibn al-Mubarak al-Sanani narrated to us: Ismail ibn Abi Uways narrated to us: My father narrated to me, from Amr ibn Samar, from Abu Tawq Sharahil ibn al-Qaqa, he said: I heard Amr ibn Madi Karib report, saying: Praise be to Allah that we, not long ago when we performed pilgrimage, used to say a rough uneven cry; and today we say as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught us: At Your service, O Allah, at Your service; at Your service, no partner have You; at Your service, indeed praise and blessing are Yours, and dominion; no partner have You. And we used to prevent the people from standing at Arafat in Jahiliyyah, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to come between them and the interior of Uranah, for their station was at the interior of Muhassir on the evening of Arafah, fearing the jinn would snatch them. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to us: They are but your brothers when they become Muslim.

عمرو بن معدی کرب کی مسند: ہم سے علی بن مبارک صنعانی نے بیان کیا، ہم سے اسماعیل بن ابی اویس نے بیان کیا، مجھ سے میرے والد نے بیان کیا، عمرو بن سمر سے، ابو طوق شراحیل بن قعقاع سے، کہا: میں نے عمرو بن معدی کرب کو خبر دیتے سنا، کہتے: اللہ کا شکر کہ ہم کچھ عرصہ پہلے جب حج کرتے تو کہتے کھردرا ناہموار؛ آج ہم کہتے ہیں جیسے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں سکھایا: حاضر اے اللہ حاضر حاضر تیرا کوئی شریک نہیں حاضر بے شک حمد اور نعمت تیرے لیے اور ملک تیرا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ اور ہم جاہلیت میں لوگوں کو عرفات میں ٹھہرنے سے روکتے تھے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں حکم دیا کہ ان کے اور بطن عرنہ کے درمیان حائل ہوں، ان کا موقف بطن محسر میں تھا عرفہ کی شام، ڈر کہ جن انہیں اچک لیں۔ اور ہم سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ تمہارے بھائی ہیں جب مسلمان ہو جائیں۔
