6787 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّاطَرِيُّ ، نَا أَبِي ، نَا رَبَاحُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الذِّمَارِيُّ ، ثَنَا الْمُطْعِمُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، يَقُولُ : [7/40] سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، يَقُولُ : سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ وَقْتِ الصَّلَاةِ ، فَلَمَّا دَلَكَتِ الشَّمْسُ أَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ لِلظُّهْرِ ، فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ ، فَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ لِلْعَصْرِ حِينَ ظَنَنَّا أَنَّ ظِلَّ الرَّجُلِ أَطْوَلُ مِنْهُ ، فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ ، فَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ لِلْمَغْرِبِ حِينَ غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ ، فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ ، وَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ لِلْعِشَاءِ حِينَ أُذْهِبَ بَيَاضُ النَّهَارِ ، وَهُوَ الشَّفَقُ ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ ، فَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ لِلْفَجْرِ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ ، فَأَمَرَهُ فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ ، فَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ مِنَ الْغَدِ لِلظُّهْرِ حِينَ دَلَكَتِ الشَّمْسُ ، فَأَخَّرَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى كَانَ ظِلُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مِثْلَهُ ، فَأَقَامَ وَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ لِلْعَصْرِ ، فَأَخَّرَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى كَانَ ظِلُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مِثْلَيْهِ ، فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَقَامَ وَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ لِلْمَغْرِبِ حِينَ غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ ، فَأَخَّرَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى كَادَ يَغِيبُ بَيَاضُ النَّهَارِ ، وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ الشَّفَقِ فِيمَا يَرَى ، ثُمَّ أَمْرَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ ، فَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ لِلْعِشَاءِ حِينَ غَابَ الشَّفَقُ ، فَنِمْنَا ثُمَّ قُمْنَا مِرَارًا ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : مَا أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ يَنْتَظِرُ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ غَيْرُكُمْ ، وَإِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُوهَا ، وَلَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُ بِتَأْخِيرِ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةِ إِلَى نِصْفِ اللَّيْلِ وَأَقْرَبَ مِنْ نِصْفِ اللَّيْلِ " ، ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ لِلْفَجْرِ ، فَأَخَّرَهَا حَتَّى كَادَتِ الشَّمْسُ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ ، فَأَمَرَهُ فَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ فَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " الْوَقْتُ فِيمَا بَيْنَ هَذَيْنِ الْوَقْتَيْنِ . " لَمْ يَرْوِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ الْمُطْعِمِ بْنِ الْمِقْدَامِ إِلَّا رَبَاحُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ : مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ " .

Muhammad ibn Harun narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Marwan ibn Muhammad al-Tatari narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Rabah ibn al-Walid al-Dhimari narrated to us, al-Mutim ibn al-Miqdam narrated to us, he said: I heard Ata ibn Abi Rabah saying: I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying: A man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the prayer times. When the sun declined, Bilal called the adhan for Zuhr, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered him and he established the prayer, and he prayed. Then he called the adhan for Asr when we thought a man's shadow was longer than him, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered him and he established the prayer, and he prayed. Then he called the adhan for Maghrib when the sun had set, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered him and he established the prayer, and he prayed. Then he called the adhan for Isha when the whiteness of day had gone, which is the twilight, then he ordered him and he established the prayer, and he prayed. Then he called the adhan for Fajr when dawn rose, and he ordered him and he established the prayer, and he prayed. Then Bilal called the adhan the next day for Zuhr when the sun declined, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delayed it until the shadow of everything was like it, and he established and prayed. Then he called the adhan for Asr, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delayed it until the shadow of everything was twice it, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered him and he established and prayed. Then he called the adhan for Maghrib when the sun set, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delayed it until the whiteness of day almost disappeared, which is the beginning of twilight as it appears. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered him and he established the prayer, and he prayed. Then he called the adhan for Isha when the twilight had gone, and we slept then rose repeatedly, then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out to us and said: No one among people awaits this prayer but you, and you shall remain in prayer as long as you await it. Were it not that I would cause hardship for my ummah, I would have ordered delaying this prayer until midnight and near midnight. Then he called the adhan for Fajr, and he delayed it until the sun almost rose, and he ordered him and he established the prayer and he prayed. Then he said: The time is between these two times. No one narrated this hadith from al-Mutim ibn al-Miqdam except Rabah ibn al-Walid; Marwan ibn Muhammad is alone in transmitting it.
