(2) CHAPTER. (The crime of) illegal sexual intercourse and the drinking of alcoholic drinks.

حدود سے بچنے ، زنا شراب نوشی کے بیان میں ۔

بَابُ لاَ يُشْرَبُ الخَمْرُ

(2b) CHAPTER. What is said regarding the beating (lashing) of a drunk.

شراب پینے والے کو مارنے کے بیان میں ۔

بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي ضَرْبِ شَارِبِ الخَمْرِ

(3) CHAPTER. Whoever ordered that the legal punishment was to be carried out at home.

جس نے گھر میں حد مارنے کا حکم دیا ۔

بَابُ مَنْ أَمَرَ بِضَرْبِ الحَدِّ فِي البَيْتِ

(4) CHAPTER. Beating with stalks of date-palm leaves and shoes.

( شراب میں ) چھڑی اور جوتے سے مارنا ۔

بَابُ الضَّرْبِ بِالْجَرِيدِ وَالنِّعَالِ

(5) CHAPTER. Cursing is disliked against the drunkard and the fact that he is not regarded as a non-Muslim.

شراب پینے والا اسلام سے نکل نہیں جاتا نہ اس پر لعنت کرنی چاہئے ۔

بَابُ مَا يُكْرَهُ مِنْ لَعْنِ شَارِبِ الخَمْرِ، وَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍ مِنَ المِلَّةِ

(6) CHAPTER. The thief while stealing.

چور جب چوری کرتا ہے ۔

بَابُ السَّارِقِ حِينَ يَسْرِقُ

(7) CHAPTER. (It is permissible) to curse thieves (generally) without mentioning names.

چور کا نام لئے بغیر اس پر لعنت بھیجنا درست ہے ۔

بَابُ لَعْنِ السَّارِقِ إِذَا لَمْ يُسَمَّ

(8) CHAPTER. Al-Hudud (legal punishement) are expiation (for the sin one has been punished for).

حد قائم ہونے سے گناہ کا کفارہ ہو جاتا ہے ۔

بَابٌ: الحُدُودُ كَفَّارَةٌ

(9) CHAPTER. A believer is safe except if he transgresses Allah's legal limits or takes others rights.

مسلمان کی پیٹھ محفوظ ہے ہاں جب کوئی حد کا کام کرے تو اس کی پیٹھ پر مار لگا سکتے ہیں ۔

بَابٌ: ظَهْرُ المُؤْمِنِ حِمًى إِلَّا فِي حَدٍّ أَوْ حَقٍّ

(10) CHAPTER. To carry out the legal punishment; and to take revenge on those who transgress Allah's limits and boundaries.

حدود قائم کرنا اور اللہ کی حرمتوں کو جو کوئی توڑے اس سے بدلہ لینا ۔

بَابُ إِقَامَةِ الحُدُودِ وَالِانْتِقَامِ لِحُرُمَاتِ اللَّهِ

(11) CHAPTER. To inflict the legal punishment on the noble and the weak people (impartially).

کوئی بلند مرتبہ شخص ہو یا کم مرتبہ سب پر برابر حد قائم کرنا ۔

بَابُ إِقَامَةِ الحُدُودِ عَلَى الشَّرِيفِ وَالوَضِيعِ

(12) CHAPTER. Intercession is not recommended in the matter of legal punishment after the case has been filed with the authorities.

جب حدی مقدمہ حاکم کے پاس پہنچ جائے پھر سفارش کرنا منع ہے بلکہ گناہ عظیم ہے ۔

بَابُ كَرَاهِيَةِ الشَّفَاعَةِ فِي الحَدِّ إِذَا رُفِعَ إِلَى السُّلْطَانِ

(13) CHAPTER. The Statement of Allah: “Cut off (from the wrist joint) the (right) hand of the thief, male or female... (V.5:38)

اللہ تعالیٰ نے سورۃ المائدہ میں فرمایا اور چور مرد اور چور عورت کا ہاتھ کاٹو ۔

بَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى:{وَالسَّارِقُ وَالسَّارِقَةُ فَاقْطَعُوا أَيْدِيَهُمَا} [المائدة: 38]
