(122) CHAPTER. It is forbidden to throw stones (with the thumb and the index or middle finger).

Narrated `Abdullah bin Mughaffal Al-Muzani: The Prophet forbade the throwing of stones (with the thumb and the index or middle finger), and said It neither hunts a game nor kills (or hurts) an enemy, but it gouges out an eye or breaks a tooth.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کنکری پھینکنے سے منع کیا تھا اور فرمایا تھا کہ وہ نہ شکار مار سکتی ہے اور نہ دشمن کو کوئی نقصان پہنچا سکتی ہے، البتہ آنکھ پھوڑ سکتی ہے اور دانت توڑ سکتی ہے۔
