(1) CHAPTER. The prescription of Friday [Salat-ul-Jumuah (Jumuah prayer)].

جمعہ کی نماز فرض ہے اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس فرمان کی وجہ سے کہ

بَابُ فَرْضِ الجُمُعَةِ

(2) CHAPTER. The superiority of taking a bath on Friday. And is it necessary for boys and womens to attend the Friday (prayer)?

جمعہ کے دن نہانے کی فضیلت اور اس بارے میں بچوں اور عورتوں پر جمعہ کی نماز کے لیے آنا فرض ہے یا نہیں ؟

بَابُ فَضْلِ الغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ، وَهَلْ عَلَى الصَّبِيِّ شُهُودُ يَوْمِ الجُمُعَةِ، أَوْ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ

(3) CHAPTER. To perfume (oneself) before going for the Friday (prayer).

جمعہ کے دن نماز کے لیے خوشبو لگانا

بَابُ الطِّيبِ لِلْجُمُعَةِ

(4) CHAPTER. The superiority of Jumuah (prayer and Khutba). [The weekly congregational Salat (prayer) offered by Muslim at the time of Salat-uz-Zuhr (Zuhr prayer). This Salat (prayer) is preceded by a Khutba (religious talk)].

جمعہ کی نماز کو جانے کی فضیلت

بَابُ فَضْلِ الجُمُعَةِ

(6) CHAPTER. To use (hair) oil (on getting prepared) for the Salat-ul-Jumuah (Friday prayer).

جمعہ کی نماز کے لیے بالوں میں تیل کا استعمال

بَاب الدُّهْنِ لِلْجُمُعَةِ

(7) CHAPTER. To wear the best available clothes (for the Jumuah prayer).

جمعہ کے دن عمدہ سے عمدہ کپڑے پہنے جو اس کو مل سکے

بَابُ يَلْبَسُ أَحْسَنَ مَا يَجِدُ

(8) CHAPTER. To clean the teeth with Siwak on Friday.

جمعہ کے دن مسواک کرنا

بَاب السِّوَاكِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ

(9) CHAPTER. Whoever cleans his teeth with Siwak belonging to someone else.

جو شخص دوسرے کی مسواک استعمال کرے

بَابُ مَنْ تَسَوَّكَ بِسِوَاكِ غَيْرِهِ

(10) CHAPTER. What should be recited (from the Quran) in the Salat-ul-Fajr (Fajr prayer) on Friday.

جمعہ کے دن نماز فجر میں کون سی سورۃ پڑھی جائے

بَابُ مَا يُقْرَأُ فِي صَلاَةِ الفَجْرِ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ

(11) CHAPTER. To offer the Salat-ul-Jumuah [prayer and Khutba (religious talk)] in villages and towns.

گاؤں اور شہر دونوں جگہ جمعہ درست ہے

بَابُ الجُمُعَةِ فِي القُرَى وَالمُدُنِ

(12) CHAPTER. Is the taking of a bath (on Friday) necessary for women, boys, and others who do not present themselves for the Jumuah (prayer).

جو لوگ جمعہ کی نماز کے لیے نہ آئیں جیسے عورتیں بچے ، مسافر اور معذور وغیرہ ان پر غسل واجب نہیں ہے ۔

بَابُ هَلْ عَلَى مَنْ لَمْ يَشْهَدِ الجُمُعَةَ غُسْلٌ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ وَغَيْرِهِمْ؟

(14) CHAPTER. It is permissible for one not to attend the Jumuah (prayer) if it is raining.

اگر بارش ہو رہی ہو تو جمعہ میں حاضر ہونا واجب نہیں

بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ إِنْ لَمْ يَحْضُرِ الجُمُعَةَ فِي المَطَرِ

(15) CHAPTER. From where (distance) should one present oneself for the Jumuah (prayer) and for whom is the Jumuah (prayer) complusory?

جمعہ کے لیے کتنی دور والوں کو آنا چاہیے اور کن لوگوں پر جمعہ واجب ہے ؟

بَابُ مِنْ أَيْنَ تُؤْتَى الجُمُعَةُ، وَعَلَى مَنْ تَجِبُ

(16) CHAPTER. The time for the Jumuah (prayer) due when the sun declines, i.e., just after mid-day.

جمعہ کا وقت سورج ڈھلنے سے شروع ہوتا ہے

بَابُ وَقْتُ الجُمُعَةِ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ

(17) CHAPTER. If it becomes very hot on Fridays (then what should be done)?

جمعہ جب سخت گرمی میں آن پڑے

بَابُ إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الحَرُّ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ

(18) CHAPTER. To go for the Jumuah (prayer) walking unhurriedly.

جمعہ کی نماز کے لیے چلنے کا بیان

بَابُ المَشْيِ إِلَى الجُمُعَةِ

(19) CHAPTER. One should not separate two persons (sitting together in a row) on Fridays.

جمعہ کے دن جہاں دو آدمی بیٹھے ہوئے ہوں ان کے بیچ میں نہ داخل ہو

بَابٌ: لاَ يُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ

(20) CHAPTER. A man should not make his brother get up to sit in his place (i.e., usurp his seat) on Friday.

جمعہ کے دن کسی مسلمان بھائی کو اس کی جگہ سے اٹھا کر خود وہاں نہ بیٹھے

بَابٌ لاَ يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ وَيَقْعُدُ فِي مَكَانِهِ

(21) CHAPTER. Adhan on Friday (for the Jumuah prayer).

جمعہ کے دن اذان کا بیان

بَابُ الأَذَانِ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ

(22) CHAPTER. One Muadh-dhin on Friday.

جمعہ کے لیے ایک مؤذن مقرر کرنا

بَابُ المُؤَذِّنِ الوَاحِدِ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ

(23) CHAPTER. The Imam, while sitting on the pulpit, repeats the wordings of the Adhan when he hears it.

امام منبر پر بیٹھے بیٹھے اذان سن کر اس کا جواب دے

بَابٌ يُجِيبُ الإِمَامُ عَلَى المِنْبَرِ إِذَا سَمِعَ النِّدَاءَ

(24) CHAPTER. To sit on the pulpit while Adhan is being pronounced.

جمعہ کی اذان ختم ہونے تک امام منبر پر بیٹھا رہے

بَابُ الجُلُوسِ عَلَى المِنْبَرِ عِنْدَ التَّأْذِينِ

(25) CHAPTER. To pronounce the Adhan before delivering the Khutba (religious talk).

جمعہ کی اذان خطبہ کے وقت دینا

بَابُ التَّأْذِينِ عِنْدَ الخُطْبَةِ

(26) CHAPTER. (T o deliver) the Khutba (religious talk) on the pulpit.

خطبہ منبر پر پڑھنا

بَابُ الخُطْبَةِ عَلَى المِنْبَرِ

(27) CHAPTER. To deliver the Khutba (religious talk) while standing.

خطبہ کھڑے ہو کر پڑھنا

بَابُ الخُطْبَةِ قَائِمًا

(28) CHAPTER. The facing of the Imam towards the people and the facing of the people towards the Imam during the Khutba (religious talk).

امام جب خطبہ دے تو لوگ امام کی طرف رخ کریں

بَابٌ يَسْتَقْبِلُ الإِمَامُ القَوْمَ، وَاسْتِقْبَالِ النَّاسِ الإِمَامَ إِذَا خَطَبَ

(29) CHAPTER. Saying “Amma badu” in the Khutba (religious talk) after glorifying and praising Allah.

خطبہ میں اللہ کی حمد و ثنا کے بعد امابعد کہنا ۔

بَابُ مَنْ قَالَ فِي الخُطْبَةِ بَعْدَ الثَّنَاءِ: أَمَّا بَعْدُ

(30) CHAPTER. To sit in between the two Khutba (religious talk) (on Friday).

جمعہ کے دن دونوں خطبوں کے بیچ میں بیٹھنا

بَابُ القَعْدَةِ بَيْنَ الخُطْبَتَيْنِ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ

(31) CHAPTER. To listen to the Khutba (religious talk) on Friday.

جمعہ کے روز خطبہ کان لگا کر سننا

بَابُ الِاسْتِمَاعِ إِلَى الخُطْبَةِ

(32) CHAPTER. When the Imam sees a person entering the mosque during the Khutba, he should order him to offer two Raka Salat (prayer) before sitting (Tahayyat-ul-Masjid).

امام خطبہ کی حالت میں کسی شخص کو جو آئے دو رکعت تحیۃ المسجد پڑھنے کا حکم دے سکتا ہے

بَابٌ إِذَا رَأَى الإِمَامُ رَجُلًا جَاءَ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ، أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

(33) CHAPTER. Whoever comes when the Imam is delivering the Khutba (religious talk) should offer a light two Raka Salat (prayer) (Tahayyat-ul-Masjid).

جب امام خطبہ دے رہا ہو اور کوئی مسجد میں آئے تو ہلکی سی دو رکعت نماز پڑھ لے

بَابُ مَنْ جَاءَ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ

(34) CHAPTER. To raise hands during the Khutba (religious talk).

خطبہ میں دونوں ہاتھ اٹھا کر دعا مانگنا

بَابُ رَفْعِ اليَدَيْنِ فِي الخُطْبَةِ

(35) CHAPTER. Istisqa (invoking Allah for rain) in the Khutba (religious talk) on Friday.

جمعہ کے خطبہ میں بارش کے لیے دعا کرنا

بَابُ الِاسْتِسْقَاءِ فِي الخُطْبَةِ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ

(36) CHAPTER. One should keep quiet and listen while the Imam is delivering the Khutba (religious talk) on friday.

جمعہ کے دن خطبہ کے وقت چپ رہنا

بَابُ الإِنْصَاتِ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ

(37) CHAPTER. An hour (opportune - lucky time) on Friday.

جمعہ کے دن وہ گھڑی جس میں دعا قبول ہوتی ہے

بَابُ السَّاعَةِ الَّتِي فِي يَوْمِ الجُمُعَةِ

(38) CHAPTER. If some people leave the Imam during the Salat-ul-Jumuah (Jumuah prayer), then the Salat (prayer) of the remaining people and the Imam is permissible.

اگر جمعہ کی نماز میں کچھ لوگ امام کو چھوڑ کر چلے جائیں تو امام اور باقی نمازیوں کی نماز صحیح ہو جائے گی

بَابٌ إِذَا نَفَرَ النَّاسُ عَنِ الإِمَامِ فِي صَلاَةِ الجُمُعَةِ، فَصَلاَةُ الإِمَامِ وَمَنْ بَقِيَ جَائِزَةٌ

(39) CHAPTER. To offer As-Salat (the Prayer) before and after the Jumuah prayer.

جمعہ کے بعد اور اس سے پہلے سنت پڑھنا

بَابُ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الجُمُعَةِ وَقَبْلَهَا

(40) CHAPTER. The Statement of Allah: Then when the (Jumuah) Salat (prayer) is ended, you may disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of Allah...” (V.62:10)

اللہ عزوجل کا ( سورۃ الجمعہ میں ) یہ فرمانا کہ جب جمعہ کی نماز ختم ہو جائے تو اپنے کام کاج کے لیے زمین میں پھیل جاؤ اور اللہ کے فضل ( روزی ، رزق یا علم ) کو ڈھونڈو

بَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَانْتَشِرُوا فِي الأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ}
