مُسْلِمٌ الْأَعْوَرُ 7574 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ بُنْدَارٌ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، نَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْأَعْوَرِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَلَى حِمَارٍ خِطَامُهُ لِيفٌ .

Muslim al-Awar. 7574 - Muhammad ibn Bashshar Bundar narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Jafar narrated to us, Shubah narrated to us, from Muslim al-Awar, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the day of Khaybar upon a donkey whose bridle was of palm fiber.

7575 - وَبِهِ قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعُودُ الْمَرِيضَ وَيَتْبَعُ [14/94] الْجِنَازَةَ وَيَرْكَبُ الْحِمَارَ وَيُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الْمَمْلُوكِ . وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ إِلَّا مُسْلِمٌ الْأَعْوَرُ . وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ جَمَاعَةٌ : ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ وَشُعْبَةُ وَغَيْرُهُمَا ، فَاجْتَزَيْنَا بِشُعْبَةَ .

7575 - And with the same chain he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would visit the sick, follow the funeral, ride the donkey, and accept the invitation of the slave. And this hadith, we do not know of anyone who narrated it from Anas except Muslim al-Awar; and a group narrated it from Muslim: Ibn Uyaynah and Shubah and others, so we sufficed with Shubah.

7575 - اور اسی سند سے انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مریض کی عیادت کرتے، جنازے کے پیچھے چلتے، گدھے پر سوار ہوتے اور غلام کی دعوت قبول کرتے۔ اور یہ حدیث، ہم نہیں جانتے کہ اسے انس سے مسلم اعور کے سوا کسی نے روایت کیا ہو؛ اور اسے مسلم سے ایک جماعت نے روایت کیا: ابن عیینہ اور شعبہ اور ان کے علاوہ، تو ہم نے شعبہ پر اکتفا کیا۔

7576 - حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ، نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ ، نَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِطَبَقٍ عَلَيْهِ بُسْرٌ وَرُطَبٌ فَجَعَلَ [14/95] يَأْكُلُ الرُّطَبَ وَيَتْرُكُ الْمُذَنِّبَ .

7576 - Muadh ibn Sahl narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Raja narrated to us, Israil narrated to us, from Muslim, from Anas: That the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was brought a tray upon which were unripe dates and ripe dates, and he would eat the ripe dates and leave the overripe ones with tails.

7577 - حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ، نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ ، نَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَفَعَهُ : إِذَا سَلَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ فَقُولُوا : عَلَيْكُمْ ، أَوْ وَعَلَيْكُمْ .
