سُورَةُ الأَعۡرَافِ

Reading Al-Nashr fi al-Qira'at al-'Ashr by Ibn al-Jazari

Ayahs 1–10 of 206

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1

الٓمٓصٓ

Alif, Lam, Meem, Sad.

سُورَةُ الأعْرافِ

تَقَدَّمَ السَكْتُ لِأبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلى كُلِ حَرْفٍ مِنَ الفَواتِحِ في بابِهِ.

(وَفِيها مِن ياءاتِ الإضافَةِ سَبْعٌ) ﴿حَرَّمَ رَبِّيَ الفَواحِشَ﴾ [الأعراف: ٣٣] أسْكَنَها حَمْزَةُ ﴿إنِّي أخافُ﴾ [المائدة: ٢٨] ﴿مِن بَعْدِي أعَجِلْتُمْ﴾ [الأعراف: ١٥٠] فَتَحَها المَدَنِيّانِ، وابْنُ كَثِيرٍ وأبُو عَمْرٍو ﴿فَأرْسِلْ مَعِيَ﴾ [الأعراف: ١٠٥] فَتَحَها حَفْصٌ ﴿إنِّي اصْطَفَيْتُكَ﴾ [الأعراف: ١٤٤] فَتَحَها ابْنُ كَثِيرٍ وأبُو عَمْرٍو ﴿آياتِيَ الَّذِينَ﴾ [الأعراف: ١٤٦] أسْكَنَها ابْنُ عامِرٍ وحَمْزَةُ، ﴿عَذابِي أُصِيبُ﴾ [الأعراف: ١٥٦] فَتَحَها أهْلُ المَدِينَةِ.

(وَفِيها مِنَ الزَوائِدِ ثِنْتانِ) ﴿ثُمَّ كِيدُونِ﴾ [الأعراف: ١٩٥] أثْبَتَها في الوَصْلِ أبُو عَمْرٍو وأبُو جَعْفَرٍ والداجُونِيُّ عَنْ هِشامٍ وأثْبَتَها في الحالَيْنِ يَعْقُوبُ والحُلْوانِيُّ عَنْ هِشامٍ ورُوِيَتْ عَنْ قُنْبُلٍ مِن طَرِيقِ ابْنِ شَنَبُوذَ كَما تَقَدَّمَ (تُنْظِرُونِ) أثْبَتَها في الحالَيْنِ يَعْقُوبُ واللَهُ المُسْتَعانُ.

كِتَٰبٌ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ فَلَا يَكُن فِى صَدْرِكَ حَرَجٌۭ مِّنْهُ لِتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

[This is] a Book revealed to you, [O Muhammad] - so let there not be in your breast distress therefrom - that you may warn thereby and as a reminder to the believers.

ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۗ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

Follow, [O mankind], what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow other than Him any allies. Little do you remember.

(واخْتَلَفُوا) فِي: ﴿قَلِيلًا ما تَذَكَّرُونَ﴾ فَقَرَأ ابْنُ عامِرٍ (يَتَذَكَّرُونَ) بِياءٍ قَبْلَ التاءِ، وكَذا هو في مَصاحِفِ أهْلِ الشامِ مَعَ تَخْفِيفِ الذالِ، وقَرَأ الباقُونَ بِتاءٍ واحِدَةٍ مِن غَيْرِ ياءٍ قَبْلَها كَما هي في مَصاحِفِهِمْ. وحَمْزَةُ والكِسائِيُّ وخَلَفٌ وحَفْصٌ عَلى أصْلِهِمْ في تَخْفِيفِ الذالِ

وَتَقَدَّمَ قِراءَةُ أبِي جَعْفَرٍ ﴿لِلْمَلائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا﴾ [البقرة: ٣٤] في البَقَرَةِ

وَتَقَدَّمَ تَسْهِيلُ هَمْزَةِ لَأمْلَأنَّ الثانِيَةِ لِلْأصْبَهانِيِّ في الهَمْزِ المُفْرَدِ.

وَكَم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَٰهَا فَجَآءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَٰتًا أَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُونَ

And how many cities have We destroyed, and Our punishment came to them at night or while they were sleeping at noon.

فَمَا كَانَ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ إِذْ جَآءَهُم بَأْسُنَآ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ

And their declaration when Our punishment came to them was only that they said, "Indeed, we were wrongdoers!"

فَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

Then We will surely question those to whom [a message] was sent, and We will surely question the messengers.

فَلَنَقُصَّنَّ عَلَيْهِم بِعِلْمٍۢ ۖ وَمَا كُنَّا غَآئِبِينَ

Then We will surely relate [their deeds] to them with knowledge, and We were not [at all] absent.

وَٱلْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ ۚ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

And the weighing [of deeds] that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy - it is they who will be the successful.

9

وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَظْلِمُونَ

And those whose scales are light - they are the ones who will lose themselves for what injustice they were doing toward Our verses.

10

وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ ۗ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ

And We have certainly established you upon the earth and made for you therein ways of livelihood. Little are you grateful.
