سُورَةُ يُونُسَ
Reading Al-Nashr fi al-Qira'at al-'Ashr by Ibn al-Jazari
Ayahs 51–60 of 109
أَثُمَّ إِذَا مَا وَقَعَ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦٓ ۚ ءَآلْـَٰٔنَ وَقَدْ كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
Then is it that when it has [actually] occurred you will believe in it? Now? And you were [once] for it impatient
Explained together with ayah 45
ثُمَّ قِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْخُلْدِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ
Then it will be said to those who had wronged, "Taste the punishment of eternity; are you being recompensed except for what you used to earn?"
Explained together with ayah 45
۞ وَيَسْتَنۢبِـُٔونَكَ أَحَقٌّ هُوَ ۖ قُلْ إِى وَرَبِّىٓ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّۭ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ
And they ask information of you, [O Muhammad], "Is it true?" Say, "Yes, by my Lord. Indeed, it is truth; and you will not cause failure [to Allah]."
وَتَقَدَّمَ ﴿وَيَسْتَنْبِئُونَكَ﴾ لِأبِي جَعْفَرٍ.
وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍۢ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لَٱفْتَدَتْ بِهِۦ ۗ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ۖ وَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
And if each soul that wronged had everything on earth, it would offer it in ransom. And they will confide regret when they see the punishment; and they will be judged in justice, and they will not be wronged

أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّۭ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know

هُوَ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
He gives life and causes death, and to Him you will be returned

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَآءٌۭ لِّمَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
O mankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers.
Explained together with ayah 53
قُلْ بِفَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِۦ فَبِذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا۟ هُوَ خَيْرٌۭ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ
Say, "In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy - in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate."
(واخْتَلَفُوا) فِي: ﴿فَلْيَفْرَحُوا﴾ فَرَوى رُوَيْسٌ بِالخِطابِ، وهي قِراءَةُ أُبَيٍّ، ورُوِّيناهُما مُسْنَدَةً عَنِ النَبِيِّ ﷺ وهي لُغَةٌ لِبَعْضِ العَرَبِ، وفي الصَحِيحِ عَنِ النَبِيِّ ﷺ " لِتَأْخُذُوا مَصافَّكم " (أخْبَرْنا) شَيْخُنا أبُو حَفْصٍ عُمَرُ بْنُ الحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مَزْيَدٍ قِراءَةً عَلَيْهِ أنا أبُو عَلِيِّ بْنُ أحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الواحِدِ أنا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ البَغْدادِيُّ أنا أبُو الوَلِيدِ إبْراهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الكَرْخِيُّ أنا أبُو بَكْرٍ الخَطِيبُ أنا أبُو القاسِمِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الهاشِمِيُّ أنا أبُو عَلِيٍّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أحْمَدَ اللُؤْلُؤِيُّ أنا أبُو داوُدَ الحافِظُ (ثَنا) مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَهِ ثَنا المُغِيرَةُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثِنًّا ابْنُ المُبارَكِ عَنِ الأجْلَحِ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَحْمَنِ بْنِ أبْزى عَنْ أبِيهِ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ رَضِيَ اللَهُ عَنْهُ «أنَّ النَبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأ قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللَهِ وبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَلِكَ فَلْتَفْرَحُوا هو خَيْرٌ مِمّا تَجْمَعُونَ » يَعْنِي بِالخِطابِ فِيهِما، حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ أخْرَجَهُ أبُو داوُدَ كَذَلِكَ في كِتابِهِ، وقَرَأ الباقُونَ بِالغَيْبِ.
(واخْتَلَفُوا) في ﴿مِمّا يَجْمَعُونَ﴾ فَقَرَأ أبُو جَعْفَرٍ وابْنُ عامِرٍ ورُوَيْسٌ بِالخِطابِ، وقَرَأ الباقُونَ بِالغَيْبِ.
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُم مِّن رِّزْقٍۢ فَجَعَلْتُم مِّنْهُ حَرَامًۭا وَحَلَٰلًۭا قُلْ ءَآللَّهُ أَذِنَ لَكُمْ ۖ أَمْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ تَفْتَرُونَ
Say, "Have you seen what Allah has sent down to you of provision of which you have made [some] lawful and [some] unlawful?" Say, "Has Allah permitted you [to do so], or do you invent [something] about Allah?"
وَتَقَدَّمَ اخْتِلافُهم في هَمْزِ ﴿أرَأيْتُمْ﴾ مِن بابِ الهَمْزِ المُفْرَدِ و﴿آللَّهُ أذِنَ لَكُمْ﴾ في الهَمْزَتَيْنِ مِن كَلِمَةٍ.
وَمَا ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ
And what will be the supposition of those who invent falsehood about Allah on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of them are not grateful."
