It was narrated that Lubabah bint Harith said: Husain bin 'Ali urinated in the lap of the Prophet and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, give me your garment and put on another garment.' He said: 'Water should be sprinkled on the urine of a baby boy, and the urine of a baby girl should be washed away.'

حسین بن علی رضی اللہ عنہما نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی گود میں پیشاب کر دیا، تو میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ مجھے اپنا کپڑا دے دیجئیے اور دوسرا کپڑا پہن لیجئیے ( تاکہ میں اسے دھو دوں ) ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بچے کے پیشاب پہ پانی چھڑکا جاتا ہے، اور بچی کے پیشاب کو دھویا جاتا ہے ۱؎۔

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: A baby boy was brought to the Prophet who then urinated on him. He sprinkled over it with water and did not wash it.

It was narrated that Umm Qais bint Mihsan said: I came to the Messenger of Allah with a son of mine who was not yet eating solid food, and he (the baby) urinated on him. He called for water and sprinkled it over (the urine).

میں اپنے ایک شیرخوار بچے کو لے کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی، اس نے آپ کے اوپر پیشاب کر دیا، آپ نے پانی منگوا کر اس پر چھڑک دیا۔

It was narrated from 'Ali that : The Prophet said concerning the urine of a nursing infant: Water should be sprinkled over the urine of a boy, and the urine of a girl should be washed. Abul-Hasan bin Salamah said: Ahmad bin Musa bin Ma'qil narrated to us that Abul-Yaman Al-Misri said: 'I asked Shafi'i about the Hadith of the Prophet, Water should be sprinkled over the urine of a baby boy, and the urine of a baby girl should be washed, when the two types of water (urine) are the same. He said, This is because the urine of the boy is of water and clay, but the urine of the girl is of flesh and blood. Then he said to me: Did you understand? I said: No. He said: When Allah the Most High created Adam, He created Eve (Hawwa') from his short rib, so the boy's urine is from water and clay, and the girl's urine is from flesh and blood. Then he said to me: Did you understand? I said: Yes. He said: May Allah cause you benefit from this.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے شیرخوار بچے کے پیشاب کے بارے میں فرمایا: بچے کے پیشاب پہ چھینٹا مارا جائے، اور بچی کا پیشاب دھویا جائے ۔

Abu Samh said: I was a servant of the Prophet, and Hasan and Husain was brought to him and (the infant) urinated on his chest. They wanted to wash it, but the Messenger of Allah said: 'Sprinkle water on it, for the urine of a girl should be washed, but the urine of a boy should be sprinkled over with water.'

میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا خادم تھا، آپ کے پاس حسن یا حسین کو لایا گیا، انہوں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سینے پر پیشاب کر دیا، لوگوں نے اسے دھونا چاہا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس پر پانی چھڑک دو، اس لیے کہ بچی کا پیشاب دھویا جاتا ہے اور بچے کے پیشاب پہ چھینٹا مارا جاتا ہے ۔

It was narrated from Umm Kurz that: The Messenger of Allah said: The urine of a boy should be sprinkled over and the urine of a girl should be washed.
