The book of drinks.

(1) CHAPTER. The Statement of Allah: “Intoxicants (all kind of alcoholic drinks), gambling, Al-Ansab and Al-Azlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitan's (satan) handiwork. So avoid (strickly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be sucessful... (V.5:90)

اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے فرمان ( سورۃ المائدہ ) کی تفسیر

(2) CHAPTER. Alcoholic drinks prepared from grapes and other things.

شراب انگور وغیرہ سے بھی بنتی ہے

بَابٌ: الخَمْرُ مِنَ العِنَبِ

(3) CHAPTER. Prohibition of alcoholic drinks have been revealed and these drinks are prepared from unripe and ripe dates.

شراب کی حرمت جب نازل ہوئی تو وہ کچی اور پکی کھجوروں سے تیار کی جاتی تھی

بَابُ نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الخَمْرِ وَهِيَ مِنَ البُسْرِ وَالتَّمْرِ

(4) CHAPTER. Alcoholic drinks prepared from honey is called Al-Bit.

شہد کی شراب جسے ” بتع “ کہتے تھے اور معن بن عیسیٰ نے کہا کہ

بَابٌ: الخَمْرُ مِنَ العَسَلِ، وَهُوَ البِتْعُ

(5) CHAPTER. What has been said (about the statement). Alcoholic drink is any drink that disturbs the mind.

اس بارے میں کہ جو بھی پینے والی چیز عقل کو مدہوش کر دے وہ ” خمر “ ہے ۔

بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي أَنَّ الخَمْرَ مَا خَامَرَ العَقْلَ مِنَ الشَّرَابِ

(6) CHAPTER. What is said regarding the one who regards an alcoholic drink lawful to drink, and calls it by another name.

اس شخص کی برائی کے بیان میں جو شراب کا نام بدل کر اسے حلال کرے

بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِيمَنْ يَسْتَحِلُّ الخَمْرَ وَيُسَمِّيهِ بِغَيْرِ اسْمِهِ

(7) CHAPTER. To prepare non-alcoholic drinks in bowls or Taur (a bowl made of stone, cooper or wood).

برتنوں اور پتھر کے پیالوں میں نبیذ بھگونا جائز ہے

بَابُ الِانْتِبَاذِ فِي الأَوْعِيَةِ وَالتَّوْرِ

(8) CHAPTER. The Prophet re-allowed the use of (certain kinds of) bowl and containers after he had forbidden their use.

ممانعت کے بعد ہر قسم کے برتنوں میں نبیذ بھگو نے کے لیے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف سے اجازت کا ہونا

بَابُ تَرْخِيصِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الأَوْعِيَةِ وَالظُّرُوفِ بَعْدَ النَّهْيِ

(9) CHAPTER. (One can drink) date-syrup as long as it does not intoxicate (not fermented).

کھجور کا شربت یعنی نبیذ جب تک نشہ آور نہ ہو پینا جائز ہے

بَابُ نَقِيعِ التَّمْرِ مَا لَمْ يُسْكِرْ

(10) CHAPTER. Al-Badhaq (a kind of alcoholic drink).

باذق ( انگور کے شیرہ کی ہلکی آنچ میں پکائی ہوئی شراب ) کے بارے میں

بَابُ البَاذَقِ، وَمَنْ نَهَى عَنْ كُلِّ مُسْكِرٍ مِنَ الأَشْرِبَةِ

(11) CHAPTER. Whoever consider that the unripe-date drink and ripe-date drink should not be mixed with each other if it is an intoxicant, and that two kinds of cooked food should not be put in one dish.

اس بیان میں کہ گدری اور پکتہ کھجور ملا کر بھگونے سے جس نے منع کیا ہے نشہ کی وجہ سے اسی وجہ سے دو سالن ملانا منع ہے

بَابُ مَنْ رَأَى أَنْ لاَ يَخْلِطَ البُسْرَ وَالتَّمْرَ إِذَا كَانَ مُسْكِرًا، وَأَنْ لاَ يَجْعَلَ إِدَامَيْنِ فِي إِدَامٍ

(12) CHAPTER. The drink of milk.

دودھ پینا اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے سورۃ النحل میں فرمایا کہ

بَابُ شُرْبِ اللَّبَنِ

(13) CHAPTER. To seek fresh water.

میٹھا پانی ڈھونڈنا

بَابُ اسْتِعْذَابِ المَاءِ

(14) CHAPTER. The drinking of milk (mixed) with water.

دودھ میں پانی ملانا ( بشرطیکہ دھوکے سے بیچا نہ جائے ) جائز ہے

بَابُ شَوْبِ اللَّبَنِ بِالْمَاءِ

(15) CHAPTER. The drinking of sweet edible things (syrups etc.) and honey.

کسی میٹھی چیز کا شربت اور شہد کا شربت بنانا جائز ہے

بَابُ شَرَابِ الحَلْوَاءِ وَالعَسَلِ

(16) CHAPTER. To drink while standing.

کھڑے کھڑے پانی پینا

بَابُ الشُّرْبِ قَائِمًا

(17) CHAPTER. Whoever drank while he was on the back of camel.

جس نے اونٹ پر بیٹھ کر ( پانی یا دودھ ) پیا

بَابُ مَنْ شَرِبَ وَهُوَ وَاقِفٌ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ

(18) CHAPTER. The one on the right should drink first.

پینے میں تقسیم کا دور داہنی طرف ۔ پس داہنی طرف سے شروع ہو

بَابُ الأَيْمَنَ فَالأَيْمَنَ فِي الشُّرْبِ

(19) CHAPTER. Shoul one ask the permission of the one sitting on one's right so as to to give the drink to an elder person first?

اگر آدمی داہنی طرف والے سے اجازت لے کر پہلے بائیں طرف والے کو دے جو عمر میں بڑا ہو

بَابٌ هَلْ يَسْتَأْذِنُ الرَّجُلُ مَنْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فِي الشُّرْبِ لِيُعْطِيَ الأَكْبَرَ

(20) CHAPTER. To drink water from a basin by putting one's mouth in it.

حوض سے منہ لگا کر پانی پینا جائز ہے

بَابُ الكَرْعِ فِي الحَوْضِ

(21) CHAPTER. The younger should serve the older.

بچوں کا بڑوں بوڑھوں کی خدمت کرنا ضروری ہے

بَابُ خِدْمَةِ الصِّغَارِ الكِبَارَ

(22) CHAPTER. Covering the containers.

رات کو برتن کا ڈھکنا ضروری ہے

بَابُ تَغْطِيَةِ الإِنَاءِ

(23) CHAPTER. The bending of the mouths of the water-skins for the sake of drinking from them.

مشک میں منہ لگا کر پانی پینا درست نہیں ہے

بَابُ اخْتِنَاثِ الأَسْقِيَةِ

(24) CHAPTER. To drink water from the mouth of a water-skin.

مشک کے منہ سے منہ لگا کر پانی پینا

بَابُ الشُّرْبِ مِنْ فَمِ السِّقَاءِ

(25) CHAPTER. It is forbidden to breathe in the vessel (while drinking water).

برتن میں سانس نہیں لینا چاہیئے

بَابُ النَّهْيِ عَنِ التَّنَفُّسِ فِي الإِنَاءِ

(26) CHAPTER. Breathing twice or thrice while drinking.

پانی دو یا تین سانس میں پینا چاہیئے

بَابُ الشُّرْبِ بِنَفَسَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثَةٍ

(27) CHAPTER. To drink in gold utensils.

سونے کے برتن میں کھانا اور پینا حرام ہے

بَابُ الشُّرْبِ فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ

(28) CHAPTER. Silver utensils.

چاندی کے برتن میں پینا حرام ہے

بَابُ آنِيَةِ الفِضَّةِ

کٹورہ میں پینا درست ہے

بَابُ آنِيَةِ الفِضَّةِ

(30) CHAPTER. To drink (water) in the (wooden) drinking bowl of the Prophet and his other utensils.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیالے اور برتن میں پینا

بَابُ الشُّرْبِ مِنْ قَدَحِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَآنِيَتِهِ

(31) CHAPTER. To drink blessed water; and the blessed water.

متبرک پانی پینا

بَابُ شُرْبِ البَرَكَةِ وَالمَاءِ المُبَارَكِ
