بَابُ قَوْلِهِ {يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلْ: اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ

(27) CHAPTER. “They ask you for a legal verdict. Say: 'Allah directs (thus) about AI-Kalala (those who leave neither descendants nor ascendants as heirs). If it is a man that dies, leaving a sister, but no child, she shall have half the inheritance. If (such a deceased was) a woman who left no child, her brother takes her inheritance...” (V.4:176)

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : آخِرُ سُورَةٍ نَزَلَتْ بَرَاءَةَ ، وَآخِرُ آيَةٍ نَزَلَتْ يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلالَةِ سورة النساء آية 176 .

English

Narrated Al-Bara: The last Sura that was revealed was Bara'a, and the last Verse that was revealed was: They ask you for a legal verdict, Say: Allah's directs (thus) about those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs. (4.176)

سب سے آخر میں جو سورت نازل ہوئی وہ سورۃ برات ہے اور ( احکام میراث کے سلسلے میں ) سب سے آخر میں جو آیت نازل ہوئی وہ «يستفتونك قل الله یفتیکم فى الکلالة» ہے۔
