خمس کے فرض ہونے کا بیان

بابُ فَرْضِ الخُمُسِ

(2) CHAPTER. The payment of Khumus is a part of religion.

مال غنیمت میں سے پانچواں حصہ ادا کرنا دین ایمان میں داخل ہے

بَابٌ: أَدَاءُ الخُمُسِ مِنَ الدِّينِ

(3) CHAPTER. The expenditure of the wives of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) after his death.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات کے بعد آپ کی ازواج مطہرات کے نفقہ کا بیان

بَابُ نَفَقَةِ نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بَعْدَ وَفَاتِهِ

(4) CHAPTER. What has been said regarding the houses of the wives of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and that which were named after them of the houses (e.g., Aishah's house).

رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بیویوں کے گھروں کا ان کی طرف منسوب کرنا

بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي بُيُوتِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

(5) CHAPTER. What has been said regarding the armour of the Prophet (p.b.u.h), his staff, sword, cup and ring.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زرہ ‘ عصاء مبارک ‘ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی تلوار ‘ پیالہ اورانگوٹھی کا بیان

مَا ذُكِرَ مِنْ دِرْعِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعَصَاهُ، وَسَيْفِهِ وَقَدَحِهِ، وَخَاتَمِهِ

(6) CHAPTER. The evidence that confirms that the Khumus (i.e., one-fifth of the war booty) is meant for the needs of Allah's Messenger (p.b.u.h) and the poor.

اس بات کی دلیل کہ غنیمت کا پانچواں حصہ

بَابُ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الخُمُسَ

(7) CHAPTER. The Statement of Allah: “Verily one-fifth (1/5th) of it is assigned to Allah and to the Messenger (p.b.u.h) ... (V.8:41).

سورۃ الانفال میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا ارشاد کہ

بَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {فَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسُولِ} [الأنفال: 41]

(8) CHAPTER. The statement of the Prophet (p.b.u.h): “Booty has been made legal for you Muslims”.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا یہ فرمانا کہ تمہارے لئے غنیمت کے مال حلال کئے گئے

بَابُ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ: «أُحِلَّتْ لَكُمُ الغَنَائِمُ»

(9) CHAPTER. The war booty is for those who witness the battles.

مال غنیمت ان لوگوں کو ملے گا جو جنگ میں حاضر ہوں

بَابٌ: الغَنِيمَةُ لِمَنْ شَهِدَ الوَقْعَةَ

(10) CHAPTER. If somebody fights for the sake of booty, will his reward (in the Hereafter) be reduced?

اگر کوئی غنیمت حاصل کرنے کے لئے لڑے ) مگر نیت ترقی دین کی بھی ہو تو کیا ثواب کم ہو گا ؟

بَابُ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِلْمَغْنَمِ، هَلْ يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ؟

(11) CHAPTER. The Imam distributes what (war booty) is presented before him and keeps aside the share of those who are not present or are absent at the time (of distribution).

خلیفہ المسلمین کے پاس غیر لوگ جو تحائف بھیجیں ان کا بانٹ دینا اور ان میں سے جو لوگ موجود نہ ہوں ان کا حصہ چھپا کر محفوظ رکھنا

بَابُ قِسْمَةِ الإِمَامِ مَا يَقْدَمُ عَلَيْهِ، وَيَخْبَأُ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَحْضُرْهُ أَوْ غَابَ عَنْهُ

(12) CHAPTER. How the Prophet (p.b.u.h) distributed the properties of Bani Quraiza and Bani An-Nadir, and how much he kept for his needs.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بنوقریظہ اور بنو نضیر کی جائیداد کس طرح تقسیم کی تھی ؟ اوراپنی ضرورتوں میں ان کو کیسے خرچ کیا ؟

بَابٌ: كَيْفَ قَسَمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قُرَيْظَةَ، وَالنَّضِيرَ وَمَا أَعْطَى مِنْ ذَلِكَ فِي نَوَائِبِهِ

(13) CHAPTER. Blessed is the wealth of a living or a dead Ghazi (i.e., Muslim fighter) who fought aling with the Prophet (p.b.u.h) or along with the ruler.

اللہ پاک نے مجاہدین کرام کو جو آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یا دوسرے بادشاہان اسلام کے ساتھ ہو کر لڑے کیسی برکت دی تھی ‘ اس کا بیان

بَابُ بَرَكَةِ الغَازِي فِي مَالِهِ حَيًّا وَمَيِّتًا، مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَوُلاَةِ الأَمْرِ

(14) CHAPTER. If the Imam sends some messenger to carry out a certain duty, or orders one to stay at home (by virtue of which he does not join the battle), will he be given a share from the booty?

اگر امام کسی شخص کو سفارت پر بھیجے یا کسی خاص جگہ ٹھہرنے کا حکم دے تو کیا اس کا بھی حصہ ) غنیمت میں ( ہو گا ؟

بَابُ إِذَا بَعَثَ الإِمَامُ رَسُولًا فِي حَاجَةٍ، أَوْ أَمَرَهُ بِالْمُقَامِ هَلْ يُسْهَمُ لَهُ

(15) CHAPTER. The proof that the Khumus is to be used for the needs of the Muslims, is that when the people of the tribe of Hawazin appealed to the Prophet (p.b.u.h) (to give them back what he had gained from them as war booty) mentioning the fact that he had been nursed by one of their women, he ( (p.b.u.h)) asked the Muslims to give up their shares of the booty to them.

اس بات کی دلیل کہ پانچواں حصہ مسلمانوں کی ضرورتوں کے لئے ہے

بَابٌ: وَمِنَ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الخُمُسَ لِنَوَائِبِ المُسْلِمِينَ مَا سَأَلَ هَوَازِنُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

(16) CHAPTER. The free emancipation of the captives by the Prophet (p.b.u.h) without taking out the Khumus from the booty.

آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا احسان رکھ کر قیدیوں کو مفت چھوڑ دینا ، اور خمس وغیرہ نہ نکالنا

بَابُ مَا مَنَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى الأُسَارَى مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُخَمِّسَ

(17) CHAPTER. The proof of the fact that Khumus is for the lmam (i.e., ruler), and taht he has the right to give thereof to some of his relatives to exclusion of others. Whatr the Prophet (p.b.u.h) distributed to Bani Al-Muttalib and Bani Hashim from the Khumus of the Khaibar booty.

اس کی دلیل کہ خمس میں امام کو اختیار ہے وہ اسے اپنے بعض ( مستحق ) رشتہ داروں کو بھی دے سکتا ہے

بَابٌ: وَمِنَ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الخُمُسَ لِلْإِمَامِ «وَأَنَّهُ يُعْطِي بَعْضَ قَرَابَتِهِ دُونَ بَعْضٍ» مَا قَسَمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِبَنِي المُطَّلِبِ، وَبَنِي هَاشِمٍ مِنْ خُمُسِ خَيْبَرَ

(18) CHAPTER. Not taking the Khumus from the spoils of a killed infidel.

مقتول کے جسم پر جو سامان ہو ﴿ کپڑے ، ہتھیار وغیرہ ﴾ وہ سامان تقسیم میں شریک ہو گا نہ اس میں سے خمس لیا جائے گا بلکہ وہ سارا قاتل کو ملے گا اور امام کا ایسا حکم دینے کا بیان

بَابُ مَنْ لَمْ يُخَمِّسِ الأَسْلاَبَ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَ قَتِيلًا فَلَهُ سَلَبُهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُخَمِّسَ، وَحُكْمِ الإِمَامِ فِيهِ

(19) CHAPTER. What the Prophet (p.b.u.h) used to give to those Muslims whose faith was not so firm, and to other Muslims, from the Khumus or other resources.

تالیف قلوب کے لیے آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا بعض کافروں وغیرہ نو مسلموں یا پرانے مسلمانوں کو خمس میں سے دینا

بَابُ مَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُعْطِي المُؤَلَّفَةَ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَغَيْرَهُمْ مِنَ الخُمُسِ وَنَحْوِهِ

(20) CHAPTER. The food gained as war booty in the battlefield.

اگر کھانے کی چیزیں کافروں کے ملک میں ہاتھ آجائیں

بَابُ مَا يُصِيبُ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ فِي أَرْضِ الحَرْبِ
